Sanibonani everyone! I am writing to you from a nice quaint internet cafe smack dab in the middle of Swaziland. Swaziland is a country land-locked in the northwestern corner of South Africa. I arrived here last Saturday, and I have been going non-stop for an entire week. Here is what a typical day in Swaziland looks like.
8:00 a.m. Breakfast
8:30-9:30 a.m. QT with JC.
10:00-12:00 p.m. Sessions 1 & 2
1:00-4:30 p.m. Ministry Site
5:00-7:00 p.m. Freetime and Chores
8:00-10:00 p.m. Evening Session
Although this week has been amazing, I have seen alot of things that really show the Africa everyone sees of television. I have held a womans hand that is dying right in front of my eyes, and I have held a four year old prostitute that sells herself so she can support her family. I also learned this week that by the year 2057 their will no longer be a Swaziland population. It was very hard to come to grips with that.
Although it was a very emotionally challenging beginning to my trip, I loved every minute of it.
Please continue to pray for our team! Much love to all!
